What follows is obviously going to be a very general discussion of psychological triggers. I'm not going to bother listing them as I'm not even sure my words are specific enough to warrant it, but any readers with triggers might do well to prepare for them or click away just in case. Dear Gutless Hypocrite, What in the fuck is wrong with you? Did being bullied your whole life just deprive you of any empathy whatsoever? I know you like to believe that you're a good person who would never hurt anyone who didn't ask for it, but keeping your bullshit concealed beneath the surface doesn't make it go away! You always act like you are so fucking woke that you don't have anything to learn about women, people of other races, and especially queer people. When I first heard of "Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma" I was ecstatic. I have always loved shonen anime for it's over the top interpretation of just about everything, from sports to playing Justice League with your classmates . I could go on for an entire post about my favorite tropes from that genre, but I really just want to talk about this one show for now. You see, picturing something I really enjoy doing (cooking) through the lens of shonen anime was an attractive prospect, so I was excited to check it out immediately when I first heard of it.
